The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the colours fresh.
- pale mount staining.
- some irregular time-staining at the sheet edges and in the margins.
- some short creases at the sheet edges.
- some soft handling creases in the margins.
- some scuffs and light pressure marks verso, very faintly visible in the left and right margins recto.
- old paper hinges at the upper and lower sheet edges.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
