The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the full sheet, with a deckle edge at left.
- the colours fresh and unattenuated.
- two areas of adhesive staining from old hinges at the lower left and right sheet edges recto; a further two tiny patches of adhesive staining at the upper sheet corners recto.
- a soft handling crease in the upper margin, visible in raking light.
- very pale time-staining at extreme sheet edges recto and verso.
Otherwise in good condition.
