Turkey Shopping Bag was produced in conjunction with the exhibition The American Supermarket at the Bianchini Gallery, New York in October 1964. Although not included in the exhibition itself, the bags were either sold or given away during the exhibition run.

In addition to the catalogue description: - the colours fresh and bright - with an added signature in pencil, presumably by another hand. - with the usual horizontal folds (inherent in the making) - some stray yellow printing ink at the left edge. - overall pale time-staining. - a faint line of staining in the lower margin. Otherwiseas described and apparently in good condition (not examined out of the frame). Framed.
