The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- with an added signature in pencil, presumably by another hand.
- with the usual horizontal folds (inherent in the making)
- some stray yellow printing ink at the left edge.
- overall pale time-staining.
- a faint line of staining in the lower margin.
