The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with margins (Corlett records the sheet size as 690 x 515 mm.), the sheet edges slightly trimmed.
- with light-staining, the colours slightly attenuated, as is common with this print.
- short, vertical creases and other minor handling creases (mainly visible in a raking light).
- some minor losses at the upper sheet edge, backed with Japan paper. Some further areas of Japan paper on the reverse, backing short tears (3 cm. and shorter) and minor thin spots.
- pinholes in the sheet corners and upper margin.
- pale backboard staining and a few pale brown stains verso.
Otherwise as described and in generally good condition.
