The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the colours slightly attenuated, particularly the pinks.
- some pale foxing in the lower left and lower margins.
- a tiny abrasion in the upper margin.
- a faint 12 cm scuff in the green sphere upper right.
- drum-mounted with brown paper tape verso; the sheet edges behind the mount not examined.
- overall time-staining verso with darker brown stains in the upper sheet, not showing through recto.
Otherwise as described and in generally good condition.
