The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with wide margins, the upper right sheet edge slightly irregular.
- the colours very bright.
- with pale mount-staining.
- a horizontal printer's crease (75 mm.) at the right sheet edge, with a few other smaller creases in places (mainly visible in a raking light).
- some minor surface dirt in places at the sheet edges.
- pale brown staining at the sheet edges verso, presumably from old tape.
- the reverse with raised paper fibres overall, presumably resultant from the sheet being cleaned.
Otherwise as described and in generally good condition.
