The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
The prints in this copy of 11 Pop Artists, Vol. 3 have remained within the covers of the portfolio since it was acquired in 1969 from Sonnabend Gallery, Paris. As a result the colours are particularly bright, having not been exposed to light; this is rare as prints from this series, particularly the screenprints by Lichtenstein and Warhol, are often attenuated or have darkened over time. Several of the prints in the portfolio have pin-point foxing, or other time related condition issues. There is some wear to the original covers.
ROY LICHTENSTEIN, Sweet Dreams, Baby! (Corlett 39)
- the colours exceptionally bright, particularly noticeable in the brilliant yellow and red which on many impressions have darkened with time from exposure to light.
- the full sheet.
- a small irregularity in the printing in the black area on the nape of the neck.
- a few very pale, whitish accretions mainly to the black pigment, in the hair to the right of the ear, on the cuff of the sleeve, and to the left upstroke of the W in POW.
- a tiny nick (3mm.) and associated crease at the upper sheet edge.
- pale discoloration at the extreme upper left sheet tip.
- otherwise as described and in very good condition.

ANDY WARHOL, Jacqueline Kennedy III (Feldman & Schellmann II.15)
- the blue pearlescent background exceptionally bright (on many impressions of this print this colour has faded with time from exposure to light).
