The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- some minor rubbing in places to the matt surface.
- two plates with pale light-staining recto, and backboard staining verso.
- some soft creasing to the sheet tips.
- the plates overall in very good condition.
- the cloth covered portfolio with considerable wear, some losses and tapes stains.
