The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue entry:
- with margins, irregularly trimmed at right, a deckle edge below
- with pale light- and mount staining
- a couple of unobtrusive areas of paper fibres(?) on the surface in the lower subject
- some flattened creases in the margins (mainly visible in a raking light)
- some scattered pinpoint foxmarks in the margins
- a small moisture stain at lower right sheet edge
- hinged with paper tape along the upper sheet edge on the reverse
Otherwise as described and in generally good condition.
