A group of four soft-metal and iron tsuba comprising: a round shakudo tsuba with the Chinese general Kan'u holding his spear, the details in copper and gold inlay; an oval shibuichi tsuba with seated Kiku Jido in high relief and inlaid in gold and silver; a mokko iron tsuba designed with the annual Setsubun rite with a nonplussed demon standing beneath a plum tree, details in gold, silver, shakudo and copper inlays; a round iron rimmed tsuba carved with a pine tree and inlaid convoluting snake of shibuichi, the details inlaid in gold and silver
