20 volumes, various sizes. Many in original publisher’s bindings, some with original dust jackets. Includes texts in English, French, and Russian.
Largely self-taught in collecting and art history, the library was the cornerstone of Mrs. Wrightsman’s education. This group of books highlights some of the fine libraries and collections where Mrs. Wrightsman studied and developed her legendary taste.
