The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Each with scattered nicks, chips and losses to the lacquer, most notable to the edges and highpoints. Some re-lacquering to each. The metal-mounted example with some separation to the mounts at areas (most notable to the legs), the top lip with a crack along one edge and some associated losses to the decoration, and a long crack emanating from one canted corner with some losses to the gilt decoration.
