The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Comprising a silver mounted perfume bottle and cover, mark of Hillard & Thomason, Birmingham, 1893; a circular wafer box and cover, marked J.W, Birmingham 1900; a silver mounted glass ink well with hinged cover, marked HT, London, 1813; a Turkish silver small dish, marked 800; a Peruvian silver miniature two-handle tray, marked 925; and a silvered metal mounted small magnifying glass, some with green inventory labels
The lot presents very well overall. There are minor nicks and scratches to the silver and silver mounts. The beveled joins on the glass ink well with small nicks and chips in areas. The perfume bottle with small nicks and chips as well to the flashed purple and cut glass surface. The wafer box and cover with small bruises to the silver. The magnifying glass with a slightly mis-shapen circular mount to the glass, yet stable.
