The surface overall has a light planishing, probably from manufacture. The hinged cover is slightly warped. The silver also with tarnish in areas, probably from syran-wrap.
The Continental silver box with small specks of oxidation to the silver, now discolored, evident on the cover in particular. The wood lined interior with slight water damage as to be expected from age and use. (6 ¼ in. wide)
