Lot Essay

While from a distance this joyful petal pink and bright ochre pattern might look like a simple polka dot, closer inspection reveals a motif of playful bears relaxing and frolicking amongst the daisies. Zuzek was adept at transforming classic textile designs such as checks and dots into something unique via the addition of florals and animals.
