The sheet is hinged along the upper edge to the mat and undulates very slightly. Artist's pinholes with wear are visible along the upper and lower edges. Small losses are visible to the upper left quadrant, presumably vestiges of the artist's working method. Upon close inspection, small repaired tears and paper loss are visible to the extreme edges. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
