The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to the backing board. The horizontal edges are deckled and faint wear is in places to the edges. The sheet has shifted slightly in tone, most notably along the edges. Artist's pinholes are to the upper corners and lower left corner and are faintly discolored. A passage of pinpoint accretions which fluoresces distinctly is to the left lower margin. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
