This OMEGA Constellation features a snap case back, two-tone waffle pie-pan cross-hair dial, dauphine hands, elegant faceted hour markers, and associated 18k mesh bracelet. The bezel has developed a beautiful dark patina, demonstrating that the watch has been "sleeping" for many years. This is one of the most strikingly beautiful time-only OMEGA watches we have had the privilege of seeing.

OMEGA launched the Constellation collection in 1952 and it has always been defined by elegant, refined cases coupled with high-precision movements. The symbol of this collection is the dome of the Geneva observatory surrounded by eight stars and it is present on the case back. The stars represent OMEGA's greatest chronometric achievements.

According to the Archives of OMEGA the present watch was manufactured on July 15, 1954 and delivered to Switzerland.
