Lot Essay

Offered fresh to market, according to research this is the first time a reference 2551 in 18k gold with diamond dial and bracelet, also retailed by Serpico Y Laino, has been seen at auciton.

The reference 2551 was produced from 1954 to 1960. The cases for this reference were produced by Wenger and the dials made by Stern Freres. Highly attractive, this watch is offered in outstanding condition. Still retaining full case proportions, the matching 'S&L' stamp to the caseback is well-defined, offering a rare opportunity for the discerning collector.
