Rolex launched the GMT-Master in 1954 in order to provide pilots a watch that could read 24 hour time for a selected time zone. Following the success of this model, in 1959 Rolex introduced its successor, the reference 1675, which Rolex produced until 1980. The manufacturer made a few different variations of the 1675, including one in all 18k gold with brown dial and brown dial; such as the present example which is furthermore offered in excellent condition.
