The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work appears to be structurally sound.
On the reverse there is a hook and two holes to hang the work.
There are a few stone losses along the edges, and one upper left and one lower centre on the surface.
Examined under ultraviolet light, there are no apparent traces of inpainting.
Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
