Decorated in gold, silver, red and black hiramaki-e [low-relief lacquer] and nashiji [sprinkled gold lacquer] against a rich and dense gyobu-nashiji ground, both sides with variously-shaped panels containing an assortment of auspicious objects relating to various festivals, attached fossilized wood netsuke in the form of a bamboo node, signed Toyomasa nanajuni sai [Toyomasa, aged 72], nashiji interiors and risers, fundame rims
