Decorated in gold, silver, red and black hiramaki-e [low-relief lacquer], takamaki-e [high-relief lacquer], kirikane [small cut pieces of gold leaf] and nashiji [sprinkled gold lacquer] with a group of travellers departing in a boat, with a man, two children and another traveller running to join them on the shore, attached carved red lacquer manju netsuke with a sage sitting under a maple tree, nashiji interiors and risers, fundame rims
