1. A squared lobed mokko iron tsuba pierced and carved in high relief, the front with tempestuous waves beneath the moon, the reverse with a dragonfly over a stream, details in silver spray and gilt
2. A lobed mokko iron tsuba carved with a fox in the monk robe beneath the moon, gilt details in nunomezogan
3. A rounded-square iron tsuba pierced and carved with shells for the kaiawase (shell matching game) and a feather, each shell decorated in gilt with various designs including flowers and geometric motifs
4. A lobed mokko iron tsuba, pierced and carved with stylised blossoms
5. An oval iron tsuba pierced with a net motif
6. A lobed mokko iron tsuba pierced and roundly carved with seven sages in the bamboo grove, copper, silver and gilt details
7. An iron tsuba roundly carved in the form of karashishi [lion dogs] on a table, the karashishi on the front with mouth closed, the one on the reverse with mouth open, gilt details
8. A round iron tsuba pierced and carved with leafy bamboo, gilt details
9. A rounded square iron tsuba with slightly raised rim, pierced and carved with stylised moon and stars
10. A round iron tsuba decorated in high-relief copper and silver inlay and gilt with three wine tasters, the reverse with waterfall, gilt details, hitsuana holes plugged with shakudo
11. A round iron tsuba, pierced and carved with waves beneath a crescent moon, waves with silver inlay spray, hitsuana holes plugged with shakudo, signed Kiami
12. A round iron tsuba pierced and carved with a family crest called maru-ni-ken-katabami (a wood sorrel and swards in a circle)
Sizes range from 6.9cm. – 9.2cm. diam.
