Habaki [collar]: single copper gilt
Nagasa [length of blade]: 78.0cm.
Koshirae [mounting]: in katana mounting, the scabbard lacquered black and richly clustered overall with cherry blossoms in gold takamaki-e, a single inlaid solid silver blossom in place of a kurikata, silver suspension ring and band engraved with scrolling, round shakudo nanako tsuba with cockerels in high relief coloured metal inlay, fuchi-kashira of shakudo with armoured warriors in high relief coloured metal inlay, menuki of Mt Fuji beyond clouds in shakudo with gold inlay
