The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Watercolour on paper. The reverse of the sheet is laid down on card. A very few small dents, minute artist's tack holes both with associated minute paint losses in places mainly in the background. The support undulates slightly. A few unobtrusive spots of foxing in the background. Medium is strong and fresh throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in good condition.
