The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Dessin: Non examinée hors du cadre. La feuille est fixée au revers à un support cartonné. De petites salissures sont visibles par endroits, notamment le long du bord supérieur et dans le quart supérieur gauche. Des petites accretions sont visibles par endroits. Des légères traces de frottement associées à de tout petits manques de matière sont visibles par endroits, notamment le long des bords inférieur et gauche. Deux légers frottements sont visibles, un dans la partie haute sous la dédicace et l’autre vers la jambe droite du personnage. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

Drawing: Not examined out of the frame. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a cardboard support. Small dirt marks are visible in places, mostly along le upper edge and to the upper right quadrant. Small accretions are visible in places. Slight rubbings associated to very small losses are visible in places, notably along the lower and left edges. Two slight rubbings are visible, one to the upper part under the dedication, and the other towards the character's right leg. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
