The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall with some minor scuffs and scratches and wear to the gilding consistent with age and use, some minor wear to the decoration and engraving, gilding especially worn around engraving, cover slightly out of shape and does not close fully flush, generally good condition.
