Overall with some minor scratches to the gold and mother-of-pearl mounts and gold blade, unable to open the steel blade but with evidence of rust and tarnish, one side with a crack through the mother-of-pearl panel, though sits flat, the other side also with a crack through the mother-of-pearl panel with some associated tiny bits of loss, though also sits flat, and with a second crack towards the end where the end of the panel is slightly lifting, also lacking one mother-of-pearl flower and two gold pellets.
