The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In overall good condition.
There are the inevitable dents, marks and chips consistent with age and use.
As stated in the cataloguing, there are restorations to the porcelain elements, in particular to the pugs which have restored breaks to their legs and tails. There is also a slight build up of dust to the crevices of the minutely modelled flowers. One flowerhead is also loose and held in place with wire but needs securing.
The tole peinte is redecorated.
The ormolu with some areas of tarnishing and very minor verdigris.
