In sound condition, will enhance with restoration. Some losses to the gilding, particularly to the extremities. Some wear and discoloration to the upholstery, consistent with age and use. Some fraying to the extremities of the upholstery. Separation to the joins at the arms and repaired break where the right arm of one fauteuil meets the back. Some evidence of historic woodworm, now inactive and some associated damage, for example to the arm upright of the left arm to one fauteuil and to the reverse of one frame. Some of the webbing is loose and would benefit from restoration. Some retouching to the gilding. With later sabots for castors.
