Lot Essay

The arms are those of the Rothschild family possibly for Baron Alphonse de Rothschild (1827-1905) on the occasion of his marriage to Leonora de Rothschild (1837-1911). The cypher is probably that of Baron Édouard de Rothschild (1868-1949).
