‘vanitas’ scene: with repairs to the enamel surrounding the central scene – particularly at the base and the upper left section. With other repaired areas of the floral lobed sections and some cracks to the enamel. ‘mythological’ scene: The central scene with multiple repairs and losses and multiple flaked and chipped losses. The floral lobed border also with multiple repaired areas – many now discolored – and further chipped and worn losses – particularly to edges . The underside extremely damaged with large losses with large areas missing and some retained and in need to repair. In brief, very damages and with multiple repairs overall.
