The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The bowl of the goblet is almost completely overpainted, with some smaller patches of white glass showing through where there is no overpaint, suggesting the bowl has been broken into at least four main pieces. The white overpaint has yellowed with age and there are some small losses. Some overpaint extends to the top of the socle at the join with the bowl. The foot appears to be in good decorative order, with wear to the gilding.
