The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are a few small nicks to the extreme edges of the card.
The card has bowed slightly. There is a crease in the upper right corner.
The work has been varnished and there is some minor localised craquelure to the varnish layer, most notably to the white pigment, with a small paint loss to the book to the centre-left of the composition.
There are a few faint scattered spots of foxing overall.
The sheet has discoloured and the pigments have faded.
There is light surface dirt overall and the varnish has discoloured.
