The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvas is unlined.
There is localised craquelure overall.
Inspection under UV light reveals a number of sympathetic retouchings overall, some to the face and some to the edges of the canvas the largest of which is 11 cm. to the centre of the right edge.
The varnish has been selectively cleaned.
