The gold box: There are a few minor insignificant nicks and scratches throughout.

The bell-push: The bun-feet are bent. The push button and bakelite panel are missing. The agate finial is loose. There are dents to the gold mount where the feet have bent.

The nephrite box: There is a crack to the front right-hand corner and a smaller crack to the rear left-hand corner. A few diamonds are missing, some have been replaced. There are traces of restoration to the gold hinges and the clasp throughout. Some pins are missing, some have been replaced, as a result, the gold mounts are loose.

The gold-mounted agate pill box: There are three cracks across the agate cover, visible primarily from the interior.

There is light surface scratching throughout to each item, consistent with wear and age.
