拍品專文

Seed-pearl beadwork on enamel is a rare technique that is inspired by traditional embroidery and a medieval style called ‘uzorochie’, which is characterised by intricate forms and picturesque silhouettes. For an almost identical charka by Fabergé, also with the maker's mark of Feodor Rückert, see T. Muntian, Feodor Rückert & Carl Fabergé, Moscow, 2016, pp. 358-359. For another comparable charka, see Exhibition catalogue, A La Vieille Russie, Fabergé, New York, 1983, p. 34, no. 12.
