    The blade curved, one side with gold inlaid Russian inscription 'In memory of the Turkish war 1877', the other side with inscription 'to Captain Prejbiano of the Leib Guard 2d Artillery brigade', the gilt brass stirrup hilt engraved on both sides with the Russian inscription 'For Bravery', the cap piece with a brass enamelled miniature of the Order of St Anne, leather scabbard

    Konstantin Pavlovich Prejbiano graduated from the Mikhail Artillery school in 1860 and took part in the Polish Campaign in 1863-1864 and in the Russo-Turkish War in 1877-1878.

    In 1879 he became Commander of the 5th Battery of the Leib Guard 2d Artillery Brigade and in 1893 he became Commander of the 24th Artillery Brigade.
