Curved, the gilt brass stirrup engraved on both sides with the Russian inscription 'For Bravery', the pierced quillon with a sword knot with the colours of the Order of St George, leather scabbard, the reverse of the top mount engraved with the Russian inscription 'To my nephew Sandro from Uncle Eugene for faithful service in 1901'
