Kitae: [forging pattern]: tight itame-hada
Hamon [tempering pattern]: regular deeply undulating ko-notare with deep nioi-guchi of large nie
Boshi [tip]: ko-maru close to mune
Nakago [tang]: ubu, one mekugi-ana, katte sagari file marks,iriyama-gata jiri
Habaki [collar]: single gilt copper
Nagasa [length of blade]: 72 cm long
Koshirae [mounting]: shirasaya, 103 cm



Accompanied by a certificate of registration as a Kicho Token (valuable sword) no. 36608 issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (Society for the Preservation of the Japan Art Sword) on 8th February 1959
