A group of four soft metal tsuba
Edo period (19th century)
A group of four soft metal tsuba comprising: a cruciform mokko shaped copper tsuba with flowering plum, chrysanthemums, grasses, heron, deer, swimming fish, butterflies inlayed in silver, gold, and colored metal: a mokko shape shakudo tsuba with flowers, insects, and grasses in high relief with gilt details: a rounded iron tsuba with autumnal flowers in high relief, gilt details: a mokko shakudo nanako tsuba with chrysanthemums in a basket on a cart inlaid in gold and colored soft-metal, a gilt dragon encircling the rim.
