Sugata: [configuration]: honzukuri, iori-mune, deep curve with pronounced saki-zori, chu-kissaki
Kitae: [forging pattern]: ko-itame, nagare, fine ji-nie
Hamon [tempering pattern]: broad suguha-cho with o-notare, some nijuba, yu-bashiri, much nie
Boshi [tip]: o-maru, slight kaeri
Nakago [tang]: ubu, katte-sagari file marks, one mekugi-ana, ha-agari kurijiri
Habaki [collar]: single copper gilt
Nagasa [length of blade]: 71cm
Koshirae [mounting]: handachi koshirae with black-lacquered chirashi saya, iron matching fittings with gilt tendrils and twigs, square mokko iron tsuba with a quatrafoliate inner piercing of two opposed open circle and two opposed solid discs with fret shaped motif in gold ito zogan, 101 cm
