Attributed to Ietsugu of Kashu province, Muromachi period (early 15th century)
Sugata: [configuration]: honzukuri, iori-mune ,even shallow shinto curve, chu-kissaki
Kitae: [forging pattern]: ko-itame nagare
Hamon: [tempering pattern]: ko-notare with gunome midare of ko-nie
Boshi [tip]: midare-komi
Nakago [tang]: o-suriage, two mekugi-ana, file marks indistinct, kiri-jiri
Habaki [collar]: double gold-clad
Nagasa [length of blade]: 67cm long
Koshirae [mounting]: shirasaya, 93 cm

Accompanied by a certificate of registration as a Hozon Token (sword worthy of preservation) no. 372754 issued by the Nihon Token Hozon Kyokai (Society for the Preservation of the Japan Art Sword) on 13th January 2006
