Kitae: [forging pattern]: itame with nagare, distinct utsuri particularly in upper blade
Hamon [tempering pattern]: gunome choji midare, tobiyaki, kinsuji, large undefined white koshiba
Boshi [tip]: midare-komi, ko-maru with kaen
Nakago [tang]: suriage, two mekugi-ana, file marks katte-sagai on original part, kiri on new part, kiri-jiri
Habaki [collar]: single copper
Nagasa [length of blade]: 75.5 cm
Koshirae [mounting]: In shirasaya with early inscription and mistaken attribution to Sanjo Yoshiie, 108.5 cm
