The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The edges are slightly deckled with faint discolouration and minor creasing, mostly to the four corners. Foxing and faint handling marks occasionally on the surface, predominantly along the lower edge. A small water stain is visible at the lower left corner. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front. Cappellin's seal and reference number 333.
