The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The edges are deckled with faint discolouration. Folds and tears along the lower right edge. Minor handling marks and creases visible along the edges and at the corners. One negligible hairline fold mark close to the lower left edge. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front. One strip of white tape at the upper edge, presumably due to previous framing method. Cappellin's seal and reference number 337. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
