The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The edges are slightly deckled with discoloration. Minor foxing, handling marks and abrasions occasionally on the surface. One area of water stain visible to the figure's head at the upper right corner. A few negligible hairline creases are visible, with one at the lower right corner. Upon close inspection, one negligible vertical fold mark along the right edge. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front. One blue tape presumably for paper consolidation at the lower left corner. Cappellin's seal and reference number 188. Subjcet to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
