The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The edges are slightly deckled with faint discoloration. Faint foxing, handling marks and abrasions occasionally on the surface. Creases mostly towards the corners. One negligible horizontal fold mark in the middle of the composition. One faint fold mark on the lower left part. One area of wrinkle located at the calves of the figure. One small area of water stain at the lower left corner. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front. Cappellin's seal and reference number 306. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
